Requirements for participants

The guided tours and workshops are only available to people over the age of 8. For participants under the age of 18, a legal guardian must also sign the present rental and tour agreement. A basic bike experience level, good physical and health conditions are expected in order for a person to participate. Accident and liability insurance is the responsibility of the tour and workshop participants.

Group size and number of participants

The offered package tours allow a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 8 participants. In case of private guiding, a maximum of 3 participants are accepted. 

Booking a tour or private guiding

You can book a group tour or private guiding via the website contact form, phone or e-mail. The booking is final when a booking confirmation from MTB Nature is received, and the payment has arrived on the bank account. 

Payment

At the moment, only bank transfers are accepted. You can transfer the agreed costs to the bank account below until 24 hours prior to the tour. In case of a company payment, the payment must have arrived within 2 weeks after participation.

When paying via external websites such as GetYourGuide, please note the supplier’s terms and conditions and provide MTB Nature with a payment confirmation. 

Cancellation policy

In case of cancelling a tour, workshop or private guiding please contact MTB Nature immediately. Free cancellation is possible until 7 days prior to the start date. Pre-booked courses including equipment can be cancelled up to 1 day before the start date, but require a cancellation fee of 20 EUR. 1 day before the start date and no-shows without cancellation will be charged at 100%. Refunds only in the event of illness and/or accident up to 24 hours before the start date, minus the cancellation fee of 20 EUR and a verified medical certificate. Tour cancellations due to severe weather conditions will not be replaced unless otherwise agreed. In such case, the payment will be returned 100%. 

Liability

Participants are not insured against accidents during any of the offered services. Guests are responsible for own appropriate accident or travel insurance. The participant is fully responsible for the rented mountainbike and other equipment. MTB Nature is not liable for any injury, personal injury, death or property damage, loss or delay in means of rental equipment or due to events beyond MTB Nature’s actual control like weather conditions. MTB Nature is only liable in accordance with the statutory regulations for damages that are directly related to the activities of the mountain bike guide and that were caused wilfully or through serious negligence. A corresponding liability insurance exists.

Place of jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is the District Court of Zell am See, Mozartstraße 2, 5700 Zell am See. Austrian law applies.
